There are two kinds of topics that can be covered here: one relates to questions about anything to do with publishing your own game, whether it be in print, PDF or any other format. The second kind of topic relates to your experiences in publishing a game. Both kinds of thread are equally welcome.

The Nice People at Story Games Sent Me

Hello everyone,
Over the holidays I wrote a little game and asked Robin Laws for advice about what to do with it. He suggested Story Games, and they suggested here.
I'd sort of envisioned it as a pdf only game, but I'm not sure who to whore my wares to for that (if I even need to), or if that's the best option.
I've only ever written for established systems before (SLA and Dying Earth) so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Lynne, Welcome to the

Hi Lynne,
Welcome to the Collective Endeavour. Hopefully we can offer useful and constructive advice to help you realise your goals for the game.
Rather than post in this thread (which is really a static post to outline the guidelines for this part of the forum), would you be able to start a new thread about you game and your goals for it? If you would like to talk about publishing, then this section of the forum is ideal. What would be great is as much detail as you can offer on your game, what it does, what it is about and who you see it appealing to. What are your goals beyond simply releasing it? Where would you like to see it going? The more detail you can offer us, the better we'll be able to help out.
If you'd like to talk about the actual game aspects of what you've written then the Game Design part of the forum would be the one to head to. Don't be afraid to have a thread going in game Design and a thread in Publishing at the same time. We're all happy to discuss the various aspects of small press creation, but the best way to do that is to keep things in their own distinct areas to help keep focus.
Thanks
Malcolm
