The Contenders book was launched at Gen Con and the PDF version was out in April.

Has the way you provided PDFs had any effect that you can see? [Joe has a normal PDF avaiable, and a version that can be straight printed and then assembled as a booklet, and then both bundled together.]

I think the numbers are OK, but I would have been hoping for more based on the play that this game generates.

Still, it's a solid game and should have solid ongoing sales.

I think it's a great game, and actual play combined with word of mouth should mean you keep a decent level sales up. The most positive thing is that it appears to have legs.

Yes I agree with the others - I think Contenders will prove to be evergreen, and its unique concept and easy to grasp mechanics means it will be frequently played and recommended.

In answer to Gregor's question about the PDF options, I think it has improved sales. Some people just buy one of the PDF versions but quite a few go for a bundle, which gives me a better payout.
