It may soon be Christmas, but the gaming world stops for no deity! I've got a couple of exciting announcements to make about who'll be attending Concrete Cow 09 on 14 March 09!
We have our first Guest of Honour! It's the Collective Endeavour's very own Gregor Hutton, the man behind Box Ninja Games. He's the author and publisher of those excellent games, Best Friends and 3:16 Carnage Among the Stars There's be more information on him when he sends me a bio! He'll be chained to a table and forced to run games of Best Friends and 3:16 all day.
We also have a trader confirmed! The Cubicle 7 Entertainment / Leisure Games roadshow will be rolling back to Concrete Cow 09. There will be all sorts of Cubicle 7 games for sale, such as Victoriana, StarBlazer, SLA Industries, and Qin: Warring States. There may even be some news on the forthcoming Doctor Who game.
The Leisure Games end of the stall will have a variety of stock, but will concentrate on things such as the Indie Games, the HP Lovecraft Historical Society T-Shirts, DVDs and various paraphernalia.
If you have something in particular you'd like to buy at Concrete Cow, either contact Leisure Games directly, or PM me and I'll pass the message on.
Make sure you bring plenty of cash to give to the nice people with the shiny books!
Make sure you keep an eye on the Concrete Cow website for more updates when they happen.
Look forward to seeing you all in March. Have a good Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Neil.
An update from Concrete Cow
Submitted by Neil Smith on Wed, 14/01/2009 - 21:02.
An update from Concrete Cow central.
We're pleased to announce Bob and Reaper's Revenge will be at Concrete Cow. Bob will have all manner of sparkling polyhedra along to tempt you.
He'll be flanking the hall with the Cubicle 7 / Leisure Games stall, so bring plenty of money to give to the nice gentlemen. If there's anything in particular you want, either contact the stores directly or PM me and I'll pass the message on.
Nathan Baron is offering a Battlestar Galactica game:
Battlestar Galactica: Hard Point
A four player scenario for Chaosium’s Basic Roleplaying sytem
Two weeks prior to the Cylon attack an elite squad of operatives known as Hard Point are sent on a vital mission to infiltrate Arch Angel, an abandoned space station, which has become the base for a new religious movement. Hard Point’s mission: to assassinate Gabrielle Schindler, a religious agitator, and locate two government agents that infiltrated Arch Angel but never reported back. Schindler preaches the word of the one true God, a doctrine that is seen as dangerous by the current administration. What they discover will lead to a terrifying revelation in the future, when the last of humanity is fighting for its very existence.
You can find details of games on offer at the Concrete Cow games page. Trouble is, that page is looking rather bare. Tell me about that wonderful game you'll be offering and I'll put it on the website for all the world to see and get excited by.
Hope to see you all on 14 March!
Neil.

Don't forget, we've also got some excellent traders attending: Leisure Games/Cubicle 7 and Reaper's Revenge.
Last but by no means least is our Guest of Honour, Gregor Hutton, bringing along various games of 3:16 and Best Friends
See you all Saturday week!
