I know a lot of people use rpgnow and its affiliate sites, but I just wanted to make a note of my experience. Its been very easy to set things up and Sean has been a star with any issues I may have had. Moreover, sales have been brisk! (which I'm sure is enhancing my new customer glow!). I put the first issue of the Almanac on as well and thats been seeing a lot of business - which I hope has fuelled the sales. I'll give a full breakdown with my Q4 report on Jan, but so far, its been well worth the effort!

I must really get Hearts In Glorantha on RPG Now and stop being lazy. If nothing else it will get it exposed to a wider audience, not just those in the know through word of mouth and the HeroQuest/Gloranthan Yahoo lists.

...OBS is definitely the market leader. Ask Fred Hicks!
You should think about how to use your allowance of Publisher Promotion Points. I would think that a banner would be worth a go for both D&H and HiG; category featured messages too.

Word
Put it this way - I have sold more on OBS in two days than I have through Lulu in six weeks. Obviously, the more outlets, the better and broader the exposure, but its put a massive smile on MY face!
And seeing D&H as their 10th hottest item on the site makes me warm inside.

Lulu

Oh, don't expect to make sales through Lulu. There's nothing to pull in customers who'd be interested and direct them to your product. Unless, of course, it's promotion you do yourself. The nice thing about OBS is that it has a large audience that's primed to buy shiny new RPG stuff, so you get passing trade even if you don't do much marketing.

To set up an account, so I can get HiG1 through them before HiG2 goes out.
