Does anyone know of a company that can do print on demand of hardback books in the UK? I'm trying to help Matthew Finch of Mythmyre Games find alternatives for people having to order hardback copies of Swords & Wizardry from Lulu and get stung for expensive shipping in they want a trackable order.
Any advice anyone can pass on would be really appreciated.

Try Anthony Rowe.
They do the UK printing for Lulu, and although they don't do Lulu's hardbacks, I know they do actually print hardbacks. No idea about quantity etc, but worth a phone call I reckon.

Actually, I think you can get hardbacks via Lulu printed in the UK (at Anthony Rowe) as long as they're 6x9 format. It's Letter that has to be printed in the States. You'd need to check the options at the Lulu site.
Lightning Source does some hardbacks, but IIRC they're in an odd range of sizes.
Folks signing up for Flaming Cobra get access to hardback printing, but that's going down a very particular route.
