Now, as you know, I am usually full of praise for LULU. However, last night I was completely sideswiped by them.
I placed an order through them to fulfil Leisure Games, filled my basket, altered the delivery address and purchased the normal £7-odd postage package. Total cost about £69. Press the pay button.
BAM!
Total cost: £115. Because the postage had rocketed from £7 to £51!
Of course, you cannot cancel an order easily on LULU so I have a ticket standing, but as they have been slow to answer recently, and the order is already status'd as FULFILLING there is a good chance it will be delivered before the ticket is answered!
I'm livid and when I finally get my hands on someone from LULU I want my money back and a bloody explanation!

Yeah, Lulu's gone a bit crap recently.

Though I'm surprised at the huge postage appearing on an order within the UK.
And yes, when they had Live Help you could use it and get a nice person to cancel an incorrect order for you. Losing that is a big pain.

I had problems recently
Raised a ticket, waited 5 business days sent them a reminder heard nothing.
But mysteriously my problem, half my order not being delivered was sorted by a full redelivery of my original order, which LG were good enough to pay me for (little stars).
Apparently there was a bug in their system which prevented them sending you email responses.

And, as if to make matters worse, they have managed to print a copy of Miscellany with a D&H inner.
Really, the things I could do with a fish-slice at the moment....

Just to report, at least on the issue of the money, it is being dealt with. A system glitch.
