Ken asked me to share this with other UK publishers. He didn't explain it at all. It looks like Rapid POD wants to move into publishing and distro as well as printing.
Whaddya think guys?

I vaguely remember Ken

I vaguely remember Ken talking about something like this before.
To be honest, I don't think the terms look attractive at all, given the potential return. Print costs can be very reasonable and with IPR on the go, I can't see much of a reason to sign up for something like this, unless Ken has arranged something with a major distributor. Which is OK if you want to get in to the distribution chain in the traditional style. But I can't really see much of a reason for that anyway.

My initial thoughts

As it stands, and with no legal training on my part, the worldwide and exclusive distribution is a deal breaker, as is the minimum six products. The percentages look high too.
7b seems oddly phrased. The contract states the copyright remains with the design house, yet it states they will seek the legal registration and enforcement. I'd want their status as agent more solid in that clause.
What I get from them seems weakly phrased too.
