Hello,
I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Sebastian and I'm a... ahem... games designer. By that, I mean that I have a website. And some ideas.
I'm not sure if I'm regionally qualified for Collective Endeavour, as I'm based in Dublin, not the UK. I've been working on a project with Joe Prince, called Hell for Leather, as part of Nathan Paoletta's Two Games One Name competition on Story Games. Although we're both designing completely different games, Joe has been able to give me great design advice. Hats off to him.
I'm going to be around for a while, so hopefully I'll be able to contribute to your projects in some meaningful way, and more hopefully I can leech your creativity on my projects too.
That's all. If you'd like to learn more about my work, you could visit my website, Cobweb Games. I think it's pretty loveable, in its own, spidery way.
Kind regards,
Sebastian Hickey.

Good to see you here. I got the e-mail but hadn't had a chance to respond. I was going to point you here and to the Forge (http://www.indie-rpgs.com).
I think the Publishing forum here has some good experiences to read about and draw upon for a first timer. Newt, Neil and Dom are three good names to look for startingh threads in the Publishing forum.
You might want to read the following:
I'd also highly recommend the First Thoughts and Playtesting forums at The Forge: http://www.indie-rpgs.com
My advice for those Forums at the Forge is to read other people's threads and their replies to get a feel for the etiquette there and then post, rather than diving in head-first. If you comment on other people's developing game ideas then you are more likely to get comments on yours.
Anyway, good to see your here. Happy reading!
Welcome Sebastian! I was all

Welcome Sebastian! I was all set to delete your post as spam when I saw the title, but I see that you're most definitely ham. There's not really a need to "qualify" to post here - we're UK based, but that doesn't preclude us from helping other games designers, wherever they may be.
Thanks for the welcome

Thanks for the welcome guys.
The list of Collective Endeavour threads you provided, Gregor, is really useful.
Furthermore, Andrew, I'm glad you've come to think of me as ham.
Regards,
Sebastian.
