The guy that published Chronica Feudalis has posted an excellent rundown of his start-up costs for his game and his initial revenues.

Great to see a different perspective on a venture.

Jeremy is a good guy with a nice game. I was talking to Chris Pramas about it after GenCon - we were both most interested in the getting talents from your mentors aspect of character creation.
He's had a good run of sales and kept an eye on his budget. I think most of us here, with hindsight, wouldn't advise spending as much as he did on art or editing on your first book/PDF -- walk before you run (there are notable cases that spring into my mind of large art budgets, though, Andy Kenrick with Dead of Night I think, and the most extreme I've heard of might be Omnifray).
