[Best Friends] New Character Sheet

Gregor Hutton's picture

Hello All

I have put a new character sheet for Best Friends on the website.

It basically adds a suggestion from Rich about listing who holds a petty hatred for you at whatever.

The book is currently out of print and is only available as a PDF at OneBookShelf sites. I hope this will change in the next few months and it will be back in print at some point.

Conception X Diary

James Mullen's picture

Got back from Conception yesterday after an excellent time and completing my challenge of running ten games in ten consecutive slots; I think I failed a few Sanity rolls and lost half my hit points, but already I'm thinking what to do next year. Anyway, here are the highlights of my Conception X diary.

[Games on Demand] KapCon 2009

Malcolm Craig's picture

2009 saw the second year of the Games on Demand room (or, rooms, this time round) at KapCon. Our facilitating team from last year was boosted by the addition of Simon Carryer and Gregor Hutton. This meant that, overall, we had seven people able to facilitate and talk about games. It gave a lot more latitude if people wanted to take a session or two off, play in games, run to get coffee etc.

[Best Friends] Almost out of stock; Wishlist?

Hey Everybody,

I've updated the PDF of Best Friends on OBS (RPGnow/DriveThruRPG) with a new one, in keeping with the last printing of the book. Hardly anyone buys the PDF of it anyway, but those that did buy it deserve the latest version (there were an unexpected flurry because of the recent Sneak Like A Ninja promotion). So if you picked it then go along and redownload the file to get latest version.

Best Friends: Macho Men who Can't Stop The Music...

Rich Stokes's picture

On Sunday I ran Best Friends at the Portsmouth RPG Club. The scenario I had casts the players as 6 members of a Disco band in 1979: a Cop, a Construction Worker, a Biker, a Cowboy, a Soldier and an Indian.

This was a dry run for the game I'm running at Conception. If you're likely to play that (and it's a blast, so I totally recommend it!) you might not want to read any further.
