CGS Q3 2009 Sales

Malcolm Craig's picture

Here we go with the Q3 sales. Overall, there was a pleasant increase in sales over Q3, mainly down to the boost that the ENnies nominations and our celebratory sale had. However, it's important to note that (from where I'm sitting), it was the direct sales boost that really affected our numbers. IPR did not experience a sharp increase due to the ENnies.

To coincide with the anniversaries of two important periods in modern history, Contested Ground Studios is having a sale.

October sees the anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis, a time of incredible fear and tension.

November sees the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, a time of great celebrations and the symbolic end of the Cold War.

[CGS] Q1 & 2 Sales

Malcolm Craig's picture

I failed to put up figures for our Q1 results, mainly due to the busy-ness of thesis writing and tutoring. However, I've now put all the figures in to the usual spreadsheet and have the numbers for both Q1 and Q2. There's some interesting stuff to be said, especially in light of Q2 figures.

And here are the totals for 2008. The number in brackets is the 2007 total, if applicable.

The a|state PDF really did give a kick in the arse to sales. With just a fraction under half of our sales from PDFs, it's proved a valuable addition to our line-up of electronic product, as well as providing a cheap and easy buy-in to the game.
