[Solipsist] Revised example of play

Thanks to all the great suggestions received in the last thread I have now totally re-written the example of play. New style (thanks to Ash), new storyline (thanks to everyone), and hopefully just better. I've tried hard as Matt suggested to get one of each type of Reality Change result in (pass, fail, overshoot, twisted) as well as showcase many of the rest of the mechanics (an unaided change, an aided one, traits increasing, resolving a thread etc.).

I am very keen on examples of play, I often find them more interesting, and certainly more entertaining, to read than most of the rest of the games I find them in, and I am determined to have one in Solipsist. However the one I seem to have written falls a little flat (according to Gregor) and doesn't showcase how weird or interesting the game could really be.

Primarily, I think, it is because it is based on the first playtest, which had only a partial plot to start with, and didn't get very far. Also my example of play Fu is just lacking a little somewhere.

Thanks to everyone who posted or mailed me comments on the Solipsist 7 Settings chapter, I've got lots of good things to take away from that. Now, on to the next bit :)

New Solipsist Website

Yes, Solipsist finally has a website!

On this website you will be able to find samples from the game, playtest materials, release schedules and more. Other stuff (links to AP threads, contributions and so on) will be coming soon.

Hopefully this will make it a lot easier for people to find materials for playtest, and I'll try and get up there most of the things that have been posted here in the past.

Solipsist Setting and GM advice chapter

I've been quiet recently (and very busy in ways totally unrelated to gaming) but I've managed to work on a new Chapter for Solipsist version 7, replacing the previous sections on Narrative, Sequence of Play, GM advice and so forth with something that I hope makes more sense, is more coherent, and more importantly does more to support the way the game should be played than the old chapters did.

So I was wondering if anyone would be able to take a look at it, maybe sense check and proofread it, and more importantly tell me how it seems as rules?
