Dragonmeet 2008 Review

Well Dragonmeet was a great success for the Collective financially:

but how did everyone find it personally?

I had a fantastic time, and thought the stall was the most professioal looking one we have had since we began attending cons. A big thankyou to Claire for sorting out some amazing POS graphics.

We didn't run as many demos as I would have liked, but that seemed to be mainly due to demand being down rather than our lack of pushing them.

Hi Folks,

Well Dragonmeet was a great success and much fun was had by all involved. The stall was exepertly dressed by Claire with assistance from the rest of us and I think it was the most professional we have ever looked. The sales where phenomenal coming in at (drum roll please)

Dragonmeet 2008: A Thank You

NeilFord's picture

Just wanted to post a brief "Thank You" to everyone who came to Dragonmeet 2008 and helped to make it the fantastic event people are telling us it was.

An especially big "Thank You" to those who stepped up and offered to run games, that was really, really appreciated. My sincerest apologies to those people who's games didn't get enough sign-ups to go ahead. We realise we didn't get as much information out pre-show as we would have liked and are already working to rectify that for the future.

Dragonmeet 2008 Stall

In the interests of not drifting the other thread too much.

So stall arrangements. It was suggested that books would be handed over earlier in the morning, before the con starts. I was wondering if anyone knew how early the doors would be open (the con starts at 10am yes?).

Also which room is the stall in?

It's my first visit to Dragonmeet, so I am unclear about such things.

We're proud to present the Collective Endeavour Journal. This short collection contains a selection of what we hope you’ll agree are excellent and exciting articles, relating to a variety of games. In these pages, you’ll find new rules, new setting elements, new characters, and above all, new ideas for use with some of the games we publish.

Hot War - SALISBURY PLAIN, gets a write up and some of London’s villains get covered in FIRMS & HATCHETMEN. (Malcolm Craig and Andrew Kenrick)
