Labyrinths & Lycanthropes

Labyrinths and Lycanthropes: Duck Roll City

Rich Stokes's picture

There are two things that running L&L on Monday taught me.

First is that I can't spell Labyrinths and the second is that whenever you put a blank sheet of paper in front of a group of people and give them pens, someone always draws a comedy penis. I was out of the room while a lot of the map was created, but sure enough, there was an archipelago drawn when I returned, consisting of islands shaped like classic schoolyard knobs. Some wag had named this land "The Paedo Isles" and thus a grand adventure was born.

Character creation left us with a motley assortment of adventurers:

[Labyrinths & Lycanthropes] Now released

Armed with the knowledge that buzz=good, I should post on websites and go to cons. I feel my marketing prowess has been strengthened tenfold!

I'm pleased to announce my latest game Labyrinths & Lycanthropes! is out now.

It's a kick ass comedy dungeon bash sporting awesome cover art from Mr Remi Treuer. And some cool interior pics from our very own Gregor Hutton.

Check out this spiel:

Labyrinths & Lycanthropes - marketing

Hi chaps

I've approved the proof from Fidlar Doubleday for L&L which means the game is finally going to go on general release. Don't you just hate getting printing sorted, always so much hassle.

Another thing I hate is marketing, I love games design but when it comes to pimping my stuff, I'm a bit lost. It's very alien to me, I've never even worked in retail or the private sector. I need to redo my website, which I'm working on slowly with my limited skills...

So what advice do our top tier sellers have for me?
Does anyone even know?

A Gamewang! Retrospective

Malcolm Craig's picture

Gamewang! is over. But it was good. Fun for all concerned, I hope. We played lots of games, drank lots of drinks, ate lots of barbecue and threw lots of frisbees.

We played roleplaying games like...

3:16
Umlaut
Hot War
Contenders
D&D 4e
Labyrinths & Lycanthropes
My Life With Master

All of which provided great fun and enjoyment. D&D 4e was so popular, it ran for two of the four game sessions!

And there were card and boardgames like...

Revenge of the B-Movie
Bang!
Agricola
For Sale
Bohnanza
Infernal Machines
Apples To Apples

[Labyrinths & Lycanthropes] Even better than the red box hack.

'Cos how much fun is a menstruating journalist anyway?

I got my latest version online, 95% done I'd say. Featuring the beautiful artwork of Mr Gregor Hutton. Still waiting for Treur's piece...

So guys, what's missing?
Does it make sense?
Is it too long?

Also if anyone fancies drawing some random beasties - I could always use a few more!

L&L v6

Thanks to everyone who's helped with the project upto now, especially Gregor and Rich.
